چکیده

Relational data are usually highly incomplete in practice, which inspires us to leverage side information to improve the performance of community detection and link prediction. This paper presents a Bayesian probabilistic approach that incorporates various kinds of node attributes encoded in binary form in relational models with Poisson likelihood. Our method works flexibly with both directed and undirected relational networks. The inference can be done by efficient Gibbs sampling which leverages sparsity of both networks and node attributes. Extensive experiments show that our models achieve the stateof-the-art link prediction results, especially with highly incomplete relational data.

Neutrosophic Relational Database Decomposition

In this paper we present a method of decomposing a neutrosophic database relation with Neutrosophic attributes into basic relational form. Our objective is capable of manipulating incomplete as well as inconsistent information. Fuzzy relation or vague relation can only handle incomplete information. Authors are taking the Neutrosophic Relational database [8], [2] to show how imprecise data can ...

User-directed Exploration of Mining Space with Multiple Attributes

There has been a growing interest in mining frequent itemsets in relational data with multiple attributes. A key step in this approach is to select a set of attributes that group data into transactions and a separate set of attributes that labels data into items. Unsupervised and unrestricted mining, however, is stymied by the combinatorial complexity and the quantity of patterns as the number ...

Using Hierarchies, Aggregates and Statistical models to discover Knowledge from Distributed Databases

Data Warehouses and statistical databases (Shoshani 1997) contain both numerical attributes (measures) and categorical attributes (dimensions). These data are often stored within a relational database with an associated hierarchical structure. There are few algorithms to date that explicitly exploit this hierarchical structure when carrying out knowledge discovery on such data. We look at a num...

Tractable Probabilistic Knowledge Bases: Wikipedia and Beyond

Building large-scale knowledge bases from a variety of data sources is a longstanding goal of AI research. However, existing approaches either ignore the uncertainty inherent to knowledge extracted from text, the web, and other sources, or lack a consistent probabilistic semantics with tractable inference. To address this problem, we present a framework for tractable probabilistic knowledge bas...

Learning Class-Level Bayes Nets for Relational Data

Many databases store data in relational format, with different types of entities and information about links between the entities. The field of statistical-relational learning (SRL) has developed a number of new statistical models for such data. In this paper we focus on learning class-level or first-order dependencies, which model the general database statistics over attributes of linked objec...
